Amble through the 10 acre property embracing the spirit of Zhiwa Ling Heritage. Previously rice fields in early times and more recently an apple orchard, the property has always been part of the people and community. With the addition of Zhiwa Ling Heritage, this has not changed - instead our guests become one with the area.
Divided by a soothing stream flowing into our trout-filled pond, the grounds exude a refreshing embrace of colour with wildflowers, local plants and trees. The team has planted over 700 trees and shrubs throughout the grounds in the past 10 years bringing back birdlife and birdsong to the property.
Walk on the flagstone pathways or sit and relax under the willows to embrace the serenity seldom found in a hotel complex. Try your hand at archery, the national sport of Bhutan, or Khuru (darts) on the main entrance lawn. Talk to our gardening team who are ever present or check our organic onsite vegetable garden for what might be on the evening menu.
All visitors are welcome to enjoy our grounds. Feel free to visit Zhiwa Ling Heritage today and bring your friends.
